Problem mit diff Ölreferenzen... [CAHA LDV]

Liebre grusse!

Hi, this is the original english message

My car is an CAHA LDV, apparently a 0AN, when i read the manual for differential oil replacement i can read:

Bild
Bild

this is spanish but clearly says: don't mix 01J and 0AN axle oils, the second image is the ETKA for LDV (my gearbox) and list 4 oils, the first three are CVT and the last is the axle oil:

G055190A2

Then i check that reference, i buy two febi 48785, and when it arrives home, i realize that it also works for the 01J (G052190A2), how is this possible, aren't those supposed to be incompatible?

ey, i didn't want to leave wrong information behind... Looks like ETKA with my VIN decoder was wrong, since ELSAWIN listed the LDV like 01J i became suspicious

Out of curiosity, i found some VIN decoder in Abu Dabhi, i'm not a fan of the UAE (forever 🍉) but it gave me the actual recalls for my car:

A bit fustrating not to find the PN for my LDV, i checked the part number in the gearbox and voilà: 01j301383t, this is the first time i really screwed it with ETKA, so that's life

Have a nice weekend [icon_autorep.gif]

i can't edit my last response, so it seems ETKA doesn't give the original part numbers of your cars, but the most current part numbers compatible with your car, it's a wild guess but for the life of me, i can't see the 01j301383t part number anywhere, arguably because the 0AN gearbox supersedes it (they look the same to me)

Ditto for the oil, i can't find a G052190A2 reference (not even in the old models back to 2006!), but only G055190A2. So my wild guess is that G055190A2 supersedes G052190A2, and the warning about 01J/0AN incompatibility made sense with oils no longer currently available (and we don't know about, ETKA is not a time machine)

So, it seems ETKA, ELSAWIN were right, and i was wrong about my interpretations, as often happens to me. Now i call it quit :D

i 'm checking every sensor, because i also switched the cooling fans for new ones, and i had to disconect a few sensors in the front of the car. Anyway VCDS doesn't alert me for any open signal, so i'm going to try a new adaption with the VCDS, and i just read that the brake signal may be disconected so the clutch wouldn't disengage. This forum is superb, so many ideas!

i travelled 500 kms to the north of the country, definitely the differential oil made a differential :D super recommended, i don't know why Audi doesn't talk about this in their manteinance, no more rpm fluctuations when the oil is cold, it sticks to 1.500/2.000 rpm like an anchor. Anyway i'll switch the CV axles for the original ones since i still have vibrations at idle speed, also i tried to make a VCDS adaption to no avail, in the range of 80 ºC, it starts with 'ADP run', brakes signal working in channel 1 IIRC, sometimes the first field in channel 10 goes down to 0.275A, but never switches to 'ADP OK', and when i restart the car it defaults again to '0.310A' with 'ADP Run'. There's another tool, VAS, i didn't try that before but i'll try to get a chinese knock-off, i read that you can make adaptations more easily

Thanks for keeping the forum online, it's the only source for multitronic maintenance worldwide!
